Each day we look around at the media surrounding us and see nothing but special interest groups manipulating the media. Certain groups are promoting political agendas, others are promoting their own racial, religious, social, and other ideals, but everyone has forgotten about humanity. Maybe we are delusional, but we have a small dream of one day uniting all our communities into one.

For years we searched for a single media outlet which was presenting both sides of the issues but could not find any newspapers, radio or television channels dedicating themselves for humanity. Left with no alternative, we took it upon ourselves to begin this journey for humanity.

Our first step in this journey was the launch of Quami Ekta. Over the last few years we have established Quami Ekta as a trustworthy, honest and compassionate media outlet fighting for humanity.

Today it is time for us to take the next step in our journey, the launch of Lok News, an English language newspaper covering and connecting all South Asian communities. We are committed to maintaining our trustworthiness, honesty and compassion for humanity. Lok News is not about one person, one race, one religion or a political purpose. Our goal remains the same, uniting the scattered South Asian communities into one. We hope you will join us in accomplishing this journey for humanity, by contributing whichever way you can.
